Todd Ayoung is a transdisciplinary art worker ( originally born in Trinidad and Tobago, nested in the colonial African and Asian Diaspora of the Caribbean. Ayoung has been in many art collaborations and collectives and has exhibited nationally and internationally. He is a founding member of the artist collective REPOhistory, served on two steering committees of Godzilla, An Asian Pacific Islander Artist Network, collaborated with GULF LABOR Artist Coalition, and was on the steering committee which helped organize the Peoples Cultural Plan for NYC. Currently, Ayoung’s main source of employment is as an adjunct Foundation/First year studio professor at Pratt Institute (UFCT local 1460) and Parsons, the New School (UAW local 7902). He is also an artist in residence/art instructor at a high school and a grocery worker at a local foodcoop, both located in Ithaca, New York.
